If you are a serious musician working in left field electronic music, ambient, musique concrete, avant garde, microtonal, sound collage, sound art, glitch, minimal, acousmatic, electroacoustic, experimental, or hybrid forms of instrumental music, I want your tracks. I am looking to put out a compilation that stretches the imagination, explores worlds, approaches music with the idea that it can be artful, that it matters, and that the world doesn’t need yet another album of programmatic song widgets.

This release is not for fame, money, or glory. It’s for the thing itself. For the love of the thing itself. It will be a net release under creative commons, released through Bandcamp as high-quality WAV, FLAC, and MP3 file formats. What I want to do is put out a compilation that will collectively inspire the participants/artists and hopefully garner a few new listeners as well. You will keep all your rights, and will be credited on the release. The standards will be high, the scope far-reaching. Join me! Let’s make an impossibly beautiful, strange, and exploratory compilation.

The deadline will be the end of 2017. This will give you some breathing room to finish your work, invite any collaborators, and spread the news. Any length song (within reason).

Contact me @ stevemueske[@]yahoo[dot]com with a link to your song. If accepted, I will request a lossless mix at 48k 24-bit with enough headroom for mastering. Please do not send a song via WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc. unless prior arrangements have been made. I prefer to listen to streaming audio for the first round of listening.
